Floating Row Covers

Pipes around the perimiter keep the edges down, then
I use stakes on the ends.
I'd like to get some old fire hose and fill it with
sand as a perimiter weight.

Laid down my floating row covers that I purchased.  I'm hoping these will reduce the chomping that's happening at night, although the problem is that a few of the pests I have actually live in the soil.  I plan to use this more on new beds when I direct sow.  The idea is that it's so light weight the plants will lift it up as they grow, or it will "float" on top of them as they grow.
